 Hairstyling is in Kim Kaskiw’s DNA – both of her parents were hairstylists and Kim worked in both of their salons while in her early 20s.
After obtaining her hairstyling license, she was mentored and trained by Vidal Sassoon partner Malcolm at a chic Yorkville (Toronto) salon bearing his name. Kim subsequently worked in several salons, most recently at Celadon (Ottawa).
Now through Studio Kim in Ottawa’s New Edinburgh area, Kim is passionate about her work and takes great pride in keeping her clients looking their very best.
Not only will she offer you the perfect cut for your lifestyle and face shape, she will help you choose the right colour and highlights that compliment your skin tone and eye colour.
Kim remains at hairstyling’s cutting edge through ongoing professional development, attending workshops and conferences on style trends, advanced precision haircutting, and colouring techniques. She is a certified Master level colourist with both Wella and Schwarzkopf.
Kim has also channelled her skills and creativity into teaching and inspiring hundreds of students of hairstyling, having taught at various hairstyling schools.
